Memphis Shades Sportshield Trigger-Lock Mount Kit MEM8919 - Universal Windshield Mounting System for Motorcycles - Perfect for Harley, Honda & Cruiser Bikes

Had a few Memphis shades products now and every piece has been an easy install and is extremely sturdy.I bought this to mount a Memphis Shades Del Rio windshield on my 2009 Sportster. After 2 years and 30,000 miles I couldn't be happier. The bike lives outside 24/7 and I ride it every day, in every kind of weather from 100 degrees and blazing hot to -10F and snowing like crazy.After all the abuse I've handed out, it looks and functions like new. A couple months back it even took a direct hit from a large turkey buzzard at 75mph and came through like a champ. I'd definitely recommend this to everybody I know.Functionally this is nice. The lowered marks are for looks. The two areas that could be improved are the overall finish. The brushed look does not match any finish on a normal front end and makes it stand out. Secondly, the mount rings are designed with adjustable nubs. These would make it easy to move between different makes of motorcycles, but detract from the looks. Most riders i think would pay a little more for rings designed for their specific size tubes.cost a bunch, but it far better than the OEM Harley one I was usingThe adjust ability is far better alsoTook longer to get unpackages then to installthis is the best idea yet a detachable shield that goes on in secondsEasy to assemble, took less than an hour. Fit perfectly ith the windshield and makes it a quick on and off option although I choose to keep it on.It took about 1/2 hour to get the windshield installed exactly the way I wanted it. The trigger-lock works great and is simple to use.
